Global Family Medicine
Community Survey
Some weeks ago, I asked you: What question would you like to ask family doctors around the world?
Today, I am thrilled to announce that the (short) survey is now ready – built upon your many insightful and inspiring responses:
The Global Family Medicine Community Survey is now live!
It’s not a boring data collection exercise. It’s an exciting celebration of the wisdom and values of family doctors, a global, collaborative effort among colleagues.
A collaboration with the WONCA Core Values Project
I am honored and grateful that Dr. Anna Stavdal, Immediate Past-President of WONCA, proposed an exciting collaboration with the WONCA Core Values Project. This means the survey now includes two questions, designed to help define the Values & Principles of Family Medicine – the very essence of our profession. This visionary initiative is led by:
- Dr. Anna Stavdal, WONCA Immediate Past-President
- Prof. Felicity Goodyear-Smith, University of Auckland, New Zealand
- Prof. Johann August Sigurdsson, Norwegian University of Science and Technology
Why participate?
- Because your voice matters. This is your opportunity to share your perspective and experience.
- Because we need each other. Family Medicine is a global community, and we are much stronger if we connect and learn from each other.
- Because this is just the beginning. The results will be published and discussed openly, to support and strengthen family doctors worldwide.
